I do believe this movie epitomizes the sensation we call elation : )

I have called you children, I have called you son.
What is there to answer if I’m the only one?
Morning comes in Paradise, morning comes in light.
Still I must obey, still I must invite.
If there’s anything to say, if there’s anything to do,
If there’s any other way, I’ll do anything for you.

I was dressed embarrassment.
I was dressed in wine.
If you had a part of me, will you take your time?
Even if I come back, even if I die
Is there some idea to replace my life?
Like a father to impress;
Like a mother’s mourning dress,
If you ever make a mess, I’ll do anything for you

I have called you preacher; I have called you son.
If you have a father or if you haven’t one,
I’ll do anything for you. I did everything for you …

There are two patches of sky before me, side by side, replete and exquisite.

One is corporeal, alive, full of delusions. Always, always beckoning with its promise of Motion. The other, stationary. Shackled to the wall. A decadent flash of history captured on film and regurgitated onto a compressed, manipulated cadaver of wood.

Quite easy to be stricken by vertigo at the first sight of these…wonders. No, not the correct word.

No, they are the Sirens, Circe, Lorelai. Traquil, but lethal. Perched about an outcrop of rocks, smirking, weaving their looms; their nimb fingers concocting another’s doom.

Do we fathom these creatures so we’d be rendered blameless for all of our vices?

Choice. Choose. Chose. Chosen. The Chosen.

We do not choose.

We are what we choose. We are The Choice.

And yes, my eyes linger

But I refuse to tell

I smiled once more

As the tears fell

What I wouldn’t give

Sun, moon, stars to thee

But Happiness

Belongs not to me

This heart of mine

Has ceased to beat

It trembles, shatters

As you retreat

Return to me

For I will wait

Night and day

Come what may

The loneliness

I can take

And yet I pray

For this relentless river to sigh

And all shall be well.
